Faith Builder
a community that's passionate about deepening faith and fostering meaningful connections with like-minded individuals
Project Summary
Faith Builder is redefining fellowship for the modern age. This app empowers churches to stay connected with their members 24/7, fostering community far beyond the Sunday service.
FaithBuilder’s story is not static. As the app grows, the community grows. As the community grows, stories emerge.
Rather than approaching video as a one-time production effort, this strategy is designed to develop in intentional phases—building foundational clarity first, then expanding into ongoing storytelling, education and partnership growth.
This allows Faith Builder’s video presence to evolve alongside the platform itself.
This is about more than just video, it’s your anchor for community engagement, trust, fundraising and long-term success.
Goals:
Clarify who Faith Builder is, who it serves and why it exists
Capture and share real, compelling, human stories of impact and transformation
Position Faith Builder not only as a tool — but as a trusted partner in spiritual formation
To unify faith formation and holistic wellness into a single, story-driven experience that helps users see, feel and live transformation. We also want to expand reach and engagement by using story to connect faith, wellness and transformation.
I don’t just make videos—I help people tell stories that matter.
My work is rooted in listening well, asking meaningful questions, and crafting visuals that feel honest and human. What sets me apart is my ability to uncover the deeper “why” behind a story and bring it to life with clarity, intention, and heart.
I believe great storytelling builds trust. And I’m here to help you do just that—with creativity, strategy, and a process that feels collaborative from start to finish.
Director’s Statement
PRE-PRODUCTION
To get things started we’ll connect via Google Meet, a phone call or in person to talk through the details and specifics of the project and each shoot day. This process includes a Pre-Production Questionnaire.
We’ll identify key moments, events and individuals that we want to capture
Prepare questions for interviews (as needed)
Create a tentative schedule for outlining key events, days, times, location(s), etc.
Discuss final deliverables and platforms being utilized
Storyboard and plan shoots
PRODUCTION
Production will include 2 shooters, multiple cameras (possibly including a drone), as well as lighting and audio, [X] Days of shooting and [X] locations.
For b-roll only shoots, we will arrive about 1-2 hours prior to our shoot to go over the schedule, locations, etc. and prep gear for filming
For interviews, we will arrive roughly 1.5-2 hours prior to the shoot to set up and prep gear so we’re ready to begin filming on time
Along with the Faith Builder team, we will lead any interviews; asking questions to encourage authentic, raw, human engagement and to capture life change and transformation through each individual’s story.
POST-PRODUCTION
This is where it all comes together. We piece together the video components into engaging, authentic content to help tell your story.
Reviewing and selecting best segments from b-roll for engaging content
Color grading footage
Adding lower thirds, graphics, titles or additional text
Audio editing (including EQ, artifact removal, compression, etc.)
Selecting appropriate musicbed for the video (including necessary licensing)
Ensuring the right tone, feel and flow for the story
Creating backups and storage for all files and clips

PRODUCTION PHASES
Deliverables are intentionally phased — starting with foundational assets for fundraising and launch and expanding into an ongoing story + education library as the app grows and fundraising increases. Each phase includes examples and can be built to fit within the current needs and vision of Faith Builder.
PHASE 1 - FOUNDATION (Launch, Fundraising & Church Growth)
Phase 1 establishes the narrative foundation for Faith Builder’s launch. This phase clarifies identity, captures the heart behind the platform, and develops core storytelling assets that support fundraising, church adoption and early user engagement. By investing in strong messaging, thoughtful production and cinematic storytelling from the beginning, Faith Builder builds credibility, emotional resonance and strategic alignment that will serve every future campaign and expansion effort.
For the first 6-8 weeks. Example timeline: pre-production, 3-4 days of on-location filming, 6-10 days of editing.
Founder / Vision Brand Story Film (2-5 minutes + 60-90s cut)
1 Church Promo Film (~2 minutes)
1 Testimony Story
6-8 Social Cutdowns
1 App Store Preview
1 Lifestyle / Product Film
4k Still Frames
Up to 10 4k still frame images to be used for promo, marketing or on the website
PHASE 2 - MOMENTUM (Story Expansion & Community Trust)
Phase 2 builds upon the foundation established in Phase 1 by capturing real stories of impact and lived transformation. As users, churches and partners begin engaging with the platform, this phase develops proof-driven storytelling that strengthens fundraising conversations, deepens trust and expands reach. The focus shifts from introducing the vision to demonstrating its effectiveness, creating a growing archive of testimony and measurable momentum.
For months 3-6. Example timeline: pre-production, 2-3 days of on-location filming, 4-8 days of editing.
The goal here is to deepen credibility, grow trust and expand reach.
1-2 Testimony Stories
1 Impact Story (church or community focused)
1 Donor-Focused Film (2-3 minutes)
To use specifically for donor engagement and conversations
Additional Social Media Clips (8-15 clips)

4k Still Frames
Up to 10 4k still frame images to be used for promo, marketing or on the website
PHASE 3 - Education & Pillar Content Library
Phase 3 positions Faith Builder for sustained growth and wider adoption. With a clear identity and documented impact in place, this phase develops high-leverage campaign films, formation-based content and strategic promotional tools that support church expansion, donor engagement and long-term credibility. The groundwork laid in earlier phases allows storytelling to move from foundational messaging to mature, authoritative communication that reinforces FaithBuilder’s role as a trusted formation companion.
For months 6-12. Example timeline: pre-production, 4+ production days, 8-12+ days of editing.
Quarterly Stories or Campaign Films

Story Example #1
This is a part of a Legacy story where we combined interview and narrative components with b-roll video to share just part of Ken’s story of life change.
Story Example #2
Pure & Simple School of Worship invests in the heart of the worshipper while also cultivating practical skills and tools needed to support our worship expressions both in individual and corporate environments.
This short video is a recap of a Night of Worship led by students at the end of a semester. While mostly consisting of b-roll shots we incorporated narrative audio from the night.
Story Example #3
This was one of the first stories we had the privilege to capture and share. When we first heard of Alan’s story we knew it needed to be shared. It was such a joy to interview Alan, and by weaving his narrative and b-roll we were able to capture the true heart of this story. This is a beautiful reminder to “Be still and know”.

We’ve already had initial conversations, but sometimes plans change and priorities shift with the vision as things grow and take shape. We’re flexible and here to be your creative partner. Let’s make sure everything is in alignment before we get started.

We’re big fans of clarity and communication. Once we’ve got everything in alignment we’ll put together a contract that outlines rough timelines and the nitty gritty. That way everyone is on the same page and knows what to expect as we move forward.

This is the fun part! Where we start to put plans into action and get rolling on pre-production and start bringing Faith Builder to life through stories.
