MULTIPLY INDIANA
Multiplying God's kingdom in every community throughout Indiana.
Project Summary
Telling the Story of a Movement
Multiply Indiana exists to strengthen churches by strengthening relationships between pastors. Rather than building an organization, you're cultivating a community where churches encourage one another, share resources, and work together to advance the Gospel across Indiana.
The goal of this project is to create a cohesive collection of films that communicate that vision with clarity and authenticity.
Instead of producing isolated marketing videos, we'll capture one compelling story that can be adapted into multiple formats—giving Multiply Indiana content that serves conferences, their website, social media, and future conversations with pastors and ministry partners.
The result is a collection of evergreen resources designed to inspire participation, build trust, and invite others into the mission.
Creative Approach
Our focus will be people before programs. Kingdom over castles.
Rather than explaining what Multiply Indiana does, we'll allow pastors and ministry leaders to tell the story through their own experiences. Honest conversations, authentic relationships, and moments of ministry will demonstrate why this work matters.
Visually, the films will combine documentary-style interviews with cinematic footage of pastors connecting, churches serving their communities, worship gatherings, and everyday ministry. The emphasis is on genuine moments that communicate hope, collaboration, and Kingdom impact.
This approach creates stories that feel less like promotional pieces and more like invitations into something meaningful.
I don’t just make videos—I help people tell stories that matter.
My work is rooted in listening well, asking meaningful questions, and crafting visuals that feel honest and human. What sets me apart is my ability to uncover the deeper “why” behind a story and bring it to life with clarity, intention, and heart.
I believe great storytelling builds trust. And I’m here to help you do just that—with creativity, strategy, and a process that feels collaborative from start to finish.
Director’s Statement
CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
To get things started we’ll connect via Google Meet or in person to talk through the details and specifics of the project and each shoot day. This is more creative development and planning than anything.
We’ll identify key moments, events, and individuals that we want to capture
Prepare questions for interviews
Create a tentative schedule for outlining key events, day(s), time(s), location(s), etc.
Discuss final deliverables and platforms being utilized and create a priority list
PRODUCTION
Production will include multiple cameras, as well as lighting and audio, 1-2 Days of shooting including interviews and b-roll.
1-2 full days filming interviews on location with Multiply Indiana team members and pastors (depending on final scope). These days will also include b-roll and allow us to consolidate production days.
Location(s) to be determined based on availability and scope. These locations will be determined in collaboration with the Multiply Indiana team, as we determine the best environment(s) to support the story
For interviews, we will arrive roughly 1.5-2 hours prior to the shoot to set up and prep gear so we’re ready to begin filming on time
For b-roll, we will capture human interactions, conversations and meetings, life in the community, etc.
POST-PRODUCTION
This is where it all comes together. We piece together the video components into engaging, authentic content to help tell your story.
Reviewing and selecting best segments from b-roll for engaging content
Color grading footage
Adding lower thirds, graphics, titles or additional text
Audio editing (including EQ, artifact removal, compression, etc.)
Selecting appropriate musicbed for the video (including necessary licensing)
Ensuring the right tone, feel and flow for the story
Creating backups and storage for all files and clips

Story Example #1
This is a part of a Legacy story where we combined interview and narrative components with b-roll video to share just part of Ken’s story of life change.
Ken’s story serves as a reference for how authentic interviews can communicate impact without relying on scripted promotional messaging.
Story Example #2
In August of 2025, Cedar Valley Christian School celebrated its 50th anniversary. The goal of this project wasn’t just to celebrate the rich legacy and foundation of the school, but to also showcase what sets the faculty and school apart as a top choice for Christian education in the community.
We combined b-roll of the school and snapshots of its history with interviews with former and current staff, as well as alumni and parents of current students. The final touch was adding the voice-over script that was read by one of the original founding members.
This serves as a reference for using multiple voices and shared experiences to communicate the larger mission and vision of an organization.
Story Example #3
Children of Promise is a child sponsorship program in over 30 countries around the world.
This short video highlights who they are, what they do and why. It incorporates interview and real, on location b-roll to accent and highlight the ministry of Children of Promise.
Story Example #4
This documentary follows entrepreneur Derick Grant during a leadership retreat in Tulum, Mexico. Rather than simply recapping the experience, the film explores the conversations, relationships, and quiet moments that shaped it—using cinematic visuals and thoughtful storytelling to create a lasting record of what participants experienced together.
This short trailer gives a reference for the cinematic, human-centered approach we envision for Multiply Indiana—allowing real people, environments, and experiences to carry the story.

We’ve already had initial conversations, but sometimes plans change and priorities shift with the vision as things grow and take shape. We’re flexible and here to be your creative partner. Let’s make sure everything is in alignment before we get started.
Contract agreement
2
We’re big fans of clarity and communication. Once we’ve got everything in alignment we’ll put together a contract that outlines rough timelines and the nitty gritty. That way everyone is on the same page and knows what to expect as we move forward.

This is the fun part! Where we start to put plans into action and get rolling on pre-production and start bringing this story to life.
Derick Grant - DG Mindset
“Ben Hodge’s professionalism and his ability to take our company’s vision and bring it to life is second to none. I have had the chance to work with other videographers in the past, but Ben Hodge is by and far the most talented I have ever worked with. If you’re looking to take your vision and bring it to life, look no further.”
“We partnered with Ben to help establish the Daniels School of Business’ storytelling presence at Purdue University in Indianapolis, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The process was seamless, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable, with Ben serving as a true creative partner every step of the way. Together, we created an impeccable pillar piece that captures both our student’s personal story and the broader energy, opportunity, and momentum of the program. The final result feels authentically Purdue, unmistakably Daniels, and has become a cornerstone asset for our presence in Indianapolis.”
